The Dust Bowl is open 7-days a week: Monday through Friday 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Where is the Dust Bowl Lanes & Lounge?

The Dust Bowl's address 211 S. Elgin Ave. It’s located on the east side of Elgin Ave, halfway between 2nd & 3rd Street and directly south of the Dilly Deli.

What is your age and ID policy?

The Dust Bowl is all ages facility until 8:00 p.m. Guests must have a valid ID to drink alcoholic beverages or to enter the establishment after 8:00 p.m. Also, please note that a parent or guardian must accompany all guests under the age of 21.

What if our family is not finished with our game at 8:00 p.m.?

Guests will not be asked to leave the facility as the clock strikes 8:00 p.m. However, we will enforce a time limit if a game extends too far beyond 8:00 p.m.

Can I reserve a lane?

Yes, we accept lane reservations but availability is limited because we want to be able to accommodate walk-in bowlers too. You can request a reservation by going to our Contact page or by calling (918) 430-3901. We accept reservations 7-days a week for up to two hours. Weekend nights tend to be busy, so we do not accept reservation start-times for after 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

How much does it cost to bowl?

Lanes are priced by the hour, not the by the game. Visit our Rates & Specials page for more information about pricing.

Do you require bowling shoes?

Yes, bowling shoes are required for all players and may be rented for $3.50 a pair.


What are your options for parties?

We have several party packages for both adults and children. Please see our Plan A Party page for more details.

How much does it cost to rent the private room?

Our private room costs $100 an hour and it has a 2-hour minimum reservation. The cost includes bowling shoes for 8 people. Any shoe rental after the 8th pair included is $3.50 per pair. It is equipped with two lanes, a private projection screen and can comfortably accommodate 16-20 guests.

Can I just walk-in or do I need a reservation to bowl?

Yes, we accept walk-ins. If a lane isn’t available when you arrive we’ll take your information and text or call you as soon as soon one opens up. While you wait for a lane you can: • Watch TV on one of our giant screens • Enjoy a drink at the bar • Relax on the patio and check out the most interesting lawn furniture in Tulsa • Play new and classic video games (Golden Tee, Time Crisis III and Pole Position, Pac Man to name a few) • Hang out in the lounge and enjoy some xtreme tots.

What is the wait on a Friday or Saturday night around 8 p.m.?

The wait for a lane depends upon a variety of factors, including events booked for that date, the size of groups currently bowling, the number of groups already on the waitlist, etc. An exact wait time cannot be determined for a particular time of day. However, if you are concerned about having lanes for a large group of people you can request a reservation by going to our plan a party page or by calling (918) 430-3901.

How many people can bowl on a lane?

Each public lane can accommodate up to 6 bowlers.  The private room accommodates up to 16-20 bowlers.

Do you serve food?

Yes, Dust Bowl offers comfort food with a kick. Our menu, which you can check out by clicking here, is available late night too. We also offer a catering menu for larger parties.

Where is the best place to park?

There are plenty of free and metered spots along Elgin, 2nd Street and 3rd Street. In addition, American Parking has two lots that are very close to the Dust Bowl:
• 414 E. 2nd Street (northeast corner of 2nd & Elgin)
• 270 S .Elgin Ave (northeast corner of 3rd & Elgin)

What do I need to bring with me?

We have bowling shoes for adults and children that you can rent, plus socks you can purchase if you happen to be wearing flip-flops when you arrive. Therefore, unless you’d like an alcoholic beverage, or it’s after 8:00 p.m., which means you’d need an ID, you can don’t need to bring anything to enjoy the Dust Bowl.

Can I drop my child off at the Dust Bowl?

Unfortunately, no. The Dust Bowl requires adult supervision of any children at the facility.

What else is there to do at the Dust Bowl besides bowling?

The Dust Bowl offers so much more than bowling. The 8,000 square foot facility includes a full-service bar, a patio, several giant screen TVs, video games and a lounge. Even if you don’t bowl, there is a lot to do at the Dust Bowl.

Does the Dust Bowl sell gift cards?

Yes, the Dust Bowl sells gift cards that can be purchased and redeemed at the bowling alley or any other McNellie’s Group location.
